Engagement Criteria
Our engagement criteria are focused on providing our clients with a finished product ready for revenue generation. A typical engagement will have some of these characteristics:
- Short time-to-market is desired, as well as low production introduction costs.
- Small engineering and production staff in client project, no desire to “staff up”.
- Core expertise must remain focused on product development.
- High degree of innovation and intellectual property content in product.
- Product still has “rough edges”.
- Mix of hardware, software, firmware, mechanical design issues remaining to be solved.
- Agency or regulatory approvals are required.
- 1-2 engineers per discipline, some part-time.
- Cost reduction is achievable but unrealized.
- Product database and MRP not yet implemented.
- Current production is nonexistent or unsatisfactory.
- Funds available for transition to production and market deployment.
